HOW TO GET TO
PÉCS
You can get to Hungary several ways: less likely by train or a car, or most commonly by riding a plane.
From most countries of course flying is the best option, since it is comfortable and it is unlikely that you will get lost.
Once you’re in Budapest, you can either take a shuttle or ride a train from there.

TAKING A TRAIN
You can take a train from Budapest to Pécs. You can get a taxi and tell them to take you to Keleti Pályaudvar (Eastern Railway Station). You can take a train (preferably an IC -inter-city-) to Pécs. You can check the online timetable at http://www.elvira.hu/english. A 2nd class ticket with seat reservation will cost you about 4,500 HUF (about 15 EUR).
TAKING A SHUTTLE
Taking a shuttle might be double the price of riding a train, but it is a much more convenient, easier way of travel to Pécs. At the airport you will find an Airport Minibus office, where we advise you to take a direct shuttle to Pécs. A direct ride to Pécs will cost you somewhat about 9,000 HUF (30 EUR). You will have to arrange this shuttle for yourself. There are two main shuttle companies which offer rides to Pécs:
